Future plans...... Well that's a bit of a loaded question.
At this time Silkens are not recogonised by the KC and from what I understand this is a fairly long and drawn out process.
With this in mind I have started agility training with Indie and will keep you updated with her progress.
In "My introduction to Silkens" i mentioned we went to a companion show, well as it turns out Thomas, my son seems to have developed the "show bug" (poor child!) much to his nans absolute delight.
So in an effort to cultivate this we will continue to go to more charity or companion shows for as long as it keeps a 5yr old childs interest, which again nan hopes will remain! I have caught Tom several times "standing" Indie so i think it may remain an interest for him.
I think this a huge plus for Silkens, the fact Indie lets Tom drag her around a ring but retains her dignity and never questions what he wants her to do.
Future Breeding Plans
Firstly of course, we need the results of her MDR1 tests, and her next tier registration, also we will get her passport done in case we need to travel abroad. Then we have to look round for a sire, in all honesty we will pick Sussi's brains and probably go along with what she suggests.
