I am on the committee of one of the show societies, each year they hold a breed seminar, usually for three breeds, every other year they like to introduce a breed that is not yet on the breed registar, this year it was Azawaks.  The seminars are very popular and very well attented by the show fraternity including a good percentage of Champ Show Judges.  They have promised that next year I can give a talk on the Silkens,  I have spokent to Gill and she says she will come up and bring hers.  This should be a good way of getting them known.  Already one Whippet breeder who is also a Champ Show Judge and very well known, after meeting Indie told a friend that if she could only have one dog as a pet this was what she would have as they are delightful.
